In 2008 Sabrina Samsoodin graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design with a BA in Textile Design. Her graduate collection marked the beginning of her exploration of a mixed media approach to design.

After graduating she spent time working on a range of projects in different creative roles, including fashion and textile design internships. Time spent at both David David and Louise Gray inspired her to pursue her passion for hand embroidery and in 2010 Sabrina began studying at The Royal School of Needlework.

“Taking inspiration from my surroundings I aim to create work, which reflects the modern world and pairs different processes together to produce complex and interesting ideas.”

Sabrina's work explores traditional textile crafts alongside innovation in digital design through a combination of embroidery, illustration and laser cut print.
